Congelación (congelación de direcciones)
Una congelación es una acción de un emisor que impide a una dirección concreta mover sus stablecoins. Los términos de Tether le permiten congelar tokens de Tether e incluir direcciones en la lista negra; los términos de USDC de Circle le permiten bloquear direcciones que vincula con actividades ilícitas o incumplimientos de los términos y congelar los USDC (en las direcciones custodiadas por Circle), de forma temporal o permanente. En el contrato de USDT en Ethereum, una dirección incluida en la lista negra conserva su saldo, pero sus transferencias se rechazan. La GENIUS Act exige que los emisores puedan bloquear, congelar y rechazar transacciones no permitidas.
