Travel Rule (regra de viagem)
A Travel Rule (regra de viagem) é a exigência do FATF de que VASPs e instituições financeiras obtenham, mantenham e transmitam informações do originador e do beneficiário junto com pagamentos ou transferências de valor, incluindo ativos virtuais; ela aplica aos ativos virtuais a Recomendação 16 do FATF sobre transparência de pagamentos. A UE a aplica por meio do Regulation (EU) 2023/1113: o prestador de serviços de criptoativos do originador deve garantir que as transferências contenham os nomes e os endereços de registro distribuído do originador e do beneficiário. Na pesquisa do FATF de 2026, 83% dos respondentes haviam aprovado legislação sobre a regra de viagem.
