Organic volume

Also known as: organic settlement, organic stablecoin volume

In the Stablecoin Scanner's methodology, organic volume is the part of settled stablecoin volume that moved between parties rather than among exchanges, bridges and routers. A transfer counts as organic only when both payer and recipient are outside the services catalogued in the scanner's label book; the rest is called service-to-service. The two are one split of the same settled volume. The academy says the cross-chain dashboard leaves Solana out of both; on 1 November 2026 the scanner's 30-day headline still listed Solana as excluded from organic figures ('not_measured_on_chain').
