# Taxa de gás

Definição de trabalho: a taxa de rede de uma transação, paga na moeda nativa da rede, como ETH na Ethereum ou TRX na TRON.

Uma taxa de gás (definição de trabalho) é a taxa de rede paga para que uma transação seja processada. Na Ethereum, o gás mede o esforço computacional das operações; a taxa é o gás usado multiplicado pelo custo por unidade, é paga em ether (ETH) e é cobrada quer a transação tenha sucesso, quer falhe. A TRON mede as transações com Bandwidth e Energy; a Energy não tem cota gratuita e é obtida por staking de TRX, cada conta recebe uma pequena cota gratuita de Bandwidth e, quando os recursos não cobrem uma transação, TRX é queimado em seu lugar.
